Bringing together the various aspects of the show, the Barco Folsom Encore provides source selection, advanced windowing features, seamless switching, video effects and integrated control. The Encore’s modular, scaleable architecture allows the system to support a wide variety of show configurations. The system can efficiently support from 1 to 32 screens with any combination of independent display or seamless wide-screen display elements.

Show visitors at Infocomm 2005 were able to see a widescreen show "Total Control" that highlighted Encore's feature set. "Total Control" provided an up close an personal look at keying, blending, and windowing features.

June, 2005: Rental partner AV Medios Servicios Audiov used Encore to produce this wide-screen image for Pfizer's convention in Sevilla, Spain.

Rental Partner Pro Systems used Encore and 6 Barco R12+ projectors to create this virtual cityscape at the Travel Industry Association of America’s 37th Annual International Pow Wow, the preeminent international marketplace for travel.

They played the four tapes back into the Barco Folsom Encore System. Using the PIP functions on the Encore, they were able to seamlessly stitch the images together to create a very wide, high- resolution, facsimile of the famed New York City skyline at sunset. They also used Encore's movement features to fly in and out Power Point Slides of the sponsor logos.

Rental Partner Blitz Vision UK used Encore to provide a wide-screen blended backdrop for this year's IVCA Awards.

Alford Media drove a 15’ x 48’ wide screen with the Barco Folsom Encore Presentation System for the Annual Frito-Lay Starfleet meetings. Although this is not the first show Alford has supported for Frito-Lay, it is the first Frito-Lay event where they utilized the Encore. Alford also relied on Barco SLM R6 projectors for the delay screens.

Alford Media was unveiled their new Folsom Encore Presentation System at the 2004 Staubach Academy Awards in Dallas. Many months ago the design team at Folsom asked Alford to join them in the development of this exciting new wide-screen product. Alford’s senior video engineer, Bill Brady, and technical director, Mark Anderson, worked with Folsom on Encore’s layout, features and controls.

The two products responsible for Lyons’ eye-opening experience were Barco’s newest high-end projector, the XLM H25, and Folsom’s next-generation video processing and control system, Encore. Lyons employed the two products in Chicago in October at the Graph Expo 2004 show to create a blended, widescreen presentation that would form the centerpiece of a mammoth 152x280 trade show. The booth belonged to Hi-Tech’s longtime customer, Heidelberg, a manufacturer of printing and prepress machinery.

Philips Medical wanted to develop an impressive environment for the MRI section of their booth at the RSNA- Radiology Society of North America show. Philips technology creates an “Ambiant Experience” for their patients where serene images surround the patient to create a more peaceful feeling during the procedure.
Hi-Tech accomplished this by using Folsom’s BlendPRO and ScreenSHAPER, three Barco R10s projectors; 7x18’ curved rear screen, lighting effects and the booth designer to create the ambient experience.

Each year, Siemens Westinghouse hosts a conference during which potential buyers are wines, dined, and courted. The Orlando-based Promedia Production Group provided the audio, video, lighting systems and set design. The Folsom ScreenPRO System was a key component to the video system. Using the system provided Promedia the flexibility to put video on any screen and route anything they wanted to any one of the screens.

Ancora Productions of Liverpool, NY recently teamed with Chicago’s The Show Department, Inc.. to produce and stage the Pass & Seymour/Legrand National Sales Meeting. The team for this project consisted of Folsom Research and their new BlendPRO image processing system; Show Department, Inc. who had an established relationship with Folsom, and solid working experience using BlendPRO in live show settings, and 2ndNature of Syracuse, NY for design and development.

During D: All Things Digital, the top names in digital technology (including Bill Gates)came together to discuss the future of the industry.

AV Concepts made sure each moment was seen clearly by the entire crowd with the use of IMAG displayed on a 9’ x 12’ rear projection screen. These images were presented via stacked Christie Roadie 4K’s and a Folsom Screen Pro Plus System.

AV Presentations provided 5 screens for the audience of around 2500. 3 different feeds to the screens at any given time, using multiple computers and time code locked video sources as content. The week’s events included everything from a Stomp performance to battling robots to a Huey Lewis and the News show.

The Folsom Screen Pro Plus was chosen as the central piece of gear in the switching and distribution plan.

When Microsoft needed its hardware engineered for optimum success at its annual "peek into the future", Hi-Tech was on hand providing the means to deliver light, visuals and sound through a seamless array of input and output configurations.

With the help of a Sierra 16x32 router controlled by a Folsom 1604, Hi-Tech mastered the complex distribution of a variety of different signal inputs and outputs with over 20 different hardware sources onstage plus a host of additional sources behind the scenes.

Barco today announced that LANG AG is the first rental and staging company worldwide to purchase the new Folsom Encore System.

Over 1,300 HR professionals gathered Nov. 2-4 for the 2003 Human Resources Invention Convention at The Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, Rhode Island.

Complete with keynote addresses from Andrea Mitchell, Charles Handy and Juan Williams – mass AV supported the general session with a 2 camera live switched IMAG, multiple tape rolls and data distribution, to provide a seamless look to the audience.

The DaVita International Show (at the Rio Hotel) featured ShowGear’s ScreenPro and ScreenPro Plus switchers controlling the show with Nine (9) screens of Video over an audience of 3000 attendees.

The Folsom ScreenPRO and ScreenPRO Plus switchers controlled all of the brilliant screen switching and sources that included 3- DXC D35 Cameras, 4- Sony BetaSP Decks, 4 Computers, 2-Sony SVO 5800 SVHS Decks, 1 DVD Player. SmartView Scan Converters made the program records very sharp and clean.
